Golspie is one of those hidden gems up in the Scottish Highlands, just south of Brora.

Golspie photos here.

Weather was dull for most of the round, but you start with links holes and then switch into heathland... before finishing with more links holes. It's a fun mix.

It can't be easy for some of these 'smaller' courses who watch all the golfing tourists flock to Royal Dornoch and Brora and pass them by. Tain and Golspie are typical examples, down the pecking order, but they can actually be more fun than some really prestigious courses. Take the nearby and highly rated Nairn - it's good and draws the tourists but it doesn't have the same sort of excitement as a course like Golspie.

Love your pictures Kevin, played many of the courses you have photographed and your pictures bring back some great memories

i would suggest playing the course when its not off the very short winter course in that case;)

Looks great will add that to the itinerary for next year with Brora.

Always fancied trying Spey Bay too! Will look into that one also at some point.
