Anyone used this site?

A friend has just bought a club and looks like being shipped from China

Lack of UK details on the website also. I think a fake maybe enroute to him

Anyone got any experience with this site ??

After checking again, definatley fake!!

R11 for less than £162.........

And I think that is the price that hooked him in. I've passed on the feedback. I knew this site was discussed previous, just couldn't find the posting.

Cheers lads

How many times will we hear of people getting caught out with this? If the prices are too good to be true its because they are......

Wonder if we can sort out a sticky for these hooky sites?

Chris, you would not believe the disaster that this boy has had

- Out for a year with hand injury & op
- Returns to play the firm's charity day at The Carrick last week
- Goes OOB early doors - uses his driver (R7) to measure drop
- (Somehow) Leaves his driver behind
- Two tees onward he realises and runs back
- No driver to be found
- No-one hands it in
- Searches Ebay and finds his own Driver
- Seller confirms club defects (dents & scratches)
- (at this point I would have doorstepped the seller !!)
- He does nothing

- And Finally - finds a "bargain" in a hooky chinese website......

Couldn'y make it up !!!!

Am I reading this right? Somebody is out on a golf course and finds a driver and does not hand it into the clubhouse but instead flogs it on eBay :D

I really shouldn't be surprised but I am :(

Sadly you are reading it correctly mate.
The thievin scumbag supposedly is in Airdrie ( supposedly his Ebay location)

Firm seems to be setting its own price comparisons online by having loads of different names - see also Golfsuper118/Golfdiscountdirect/Buzzgolfclubs/Supergolfstore.co.uk/Golfseasonss and probably many more. All carry the same warning signs - no phone number or address and a web chat system where they will tell you (in poor English) that they are based in UK/USA or anything else they think you want to hear. Believe me, I fell for it but Credit card company helping me out. ALWAYS avoid any site without the legal requirements as set by British distance selling rules.
