GolfShot GPS

If you use the search function I think you'll find that it was recently covered. Having said that I've been trying out several iPhone golf apps recently. Namely freecaddie, which I had on my old windows mobile phone, golfshot, viewti and accellgolf. All lite versions.

So far, the viewti comes out on top. Beware though, the lite version only allows use for three holes. It has the best iPhone stats gps combo of all of them. Freecaddie (search for review in the review section), is the simplest gps to use and the distances to greens version is free.

My comments in the freecaddie review about the fragility of mobiles on the golf course still stand for the iPhone as it did for the windows mobile phone.

If I had to fork out for one golf / stats iPhone package, it would be the viewti.

I have one on my IPhone and IMO its better than Freecaddie ,it was well worth the £18 for the app it does chew your battery a bit ,but there's ways around it, was always sceptical about GPS till i used it now couldn't do with out it , if you play a lot of different tracks then ite worth the money.

Never used the Golfshot App but have used both Caddyaid and freecaddie pro, Have found both to be excellent and accurate. The freecaddie pro version costs very little and can be tailored to suit your specific requirements by using the course editor either online or whilst on the course.
Suppose it depends what mobile you use, ie battery life and gps quality.
