Loving this picture of Wesley Bryan, winner of RBC Heritage. Is this the worst dressed golfer ever?

I know the jacket is part of the winners uniform and he's done really well to win but all the same, when he's showing his grandkids etc they'll think he was on something.

Could his clothes sponsors not pick something more matching to the jacket to play in Sunday in case he won?

I'm sure he's not worried about what he's wearing when he's standing there wearing the trophy! To be fair, minus the jacket I don't mind the lilac t-shirt and pink trouser combo.

Surely Poulter is in with a shout for worst dressed golfers. He's had some absolute shockers.

To be fair, there is not a lot if anything that would go with that jacket. reminds me of when you saw American Tourists wearing in the 80's in Edinburgh:rofl:

I admit that the color combination is a tad unfortunate  But I don't think clothes sponsors prescribe exactly what each player has to wear on a certain day. They send them a collection of their season attire and that's that. And I doubt that Wes did pick this outfit with any thought about the winning uniform on his mind. And I must say, if I just won my very first PGA event, I wouldn't worry about color combinations either. Bright pink trousers though ... rarely a good choice :mmm:

I remember Stewart Cink for his Turnberry Open win saying that his clothes were set out for each day by Nike but I'm not sure if that's the same for all golfers and tournaments or just some Majors. Be interesting to know if Nike or others have that as a clause in their contracts with players.

i'm sure the sponsors have a big say in what the players wear in order to entice the public to go out and buy. How many others now wear red on the last day after the precedent set by Tiger?

I like colurful characters (Fowler,Poulter,John Daly) as you should be able to express yourself on the golf course as long as you dont dress like it anywhere else.
I think Mickelson has to be one of the worse dressed as nothing seems to look good on him or fits him properly. IMO
