Just got into work and unwrapped my eagerly awaited new clubs, all shined and new, except for one. The pw has blatantly been a demo club and has scratches on the face and top line.

Obvioulsy going to contact them for a resolution, but as they're now closed just curious if anyone has had any dealing with them. The clubs are currently out of stock so looks like I'll be stuck for a fortnight with no replacement.

i know it sounds weird but why not ask for cash off the sale. for the price of collecting your clubs and sending a new set out it would be better for them to give you some cash back. after all the pw is going to look as it does after a round or two anyway.

bad service though. i wouldn't be happy

Agree with Hovis.

Best approach is to email them some clear pictures of the PW damage and politely ask them how they would like to proceed? You retain all your rights but should gain an additional option if they make you an offer of cash or a box of balls etc

Final update.

Credit it where it's due. Qucik phone call and £40 of a new bag I was looking st (which they price matched). In the post and on its way.

Hapoy shopper!
