Golfing Presents

So what golf 'present' have your received?

My distant relatives always manage to surprise me by finding and sending the rubbish sold for golfers.

e.g. Battery operated ball cleaner, luminous balls and ball monogramming kit. Gawd help us.

The other stuff that winds me up it the various aids that are supposed to help with practise. Does anybody actually carry any of these 'aids' onto the course when they practise - it amuses me when articles suggest we practise on the course. I'm sure our fellow golfers are happy to wait around while we get thes bits of kit setup or throw loads of balls in a bunker.

Ok, I feel much better now, looking forward to 2016 and a new gold season.

Learned a few year ago to inform everyone "Don't buy me any golf gear for Christmas" so now they just get me vouchers and I can buy my own rubbish.

This should really help my short game issues once and for all. Very happy

I can see the funny side of it, but more so from someone who knows me and/or has played with me, hence I'm happy to meet up and have a knock, nothing sinister in that, is there?

Best present I got this year was my boy asking me to get him new golf clubs and his excited little face when he opened them yesterday. Unfortunately we've not been out yet but playing tomorrow afternoon. Being able to share this wonderful game with him is the best Christmas present I've ever had
