Golfing Plans Weekend?

Hi guys,

Hope you are all looking forward to the weekend! I certainly am!

After seeing the positives from my first lesson last weekend I am soooo excited about practising and playing more than ever now!

Got 2 rounds booked for Saturday and Sunday across the border in spain at the following courses which will allow me to put in play the adjustments and tweaks suggested from my lesson last week! Not expecting fireworks with my new tweaked setup to be honest so I'll certainly be hitting the practice grounds to practice as much as possible!

My plan is to break in the new AP2's that have just arrived .............waahooooooo...

Sorry mate i know the "Im getting new clubs" is a bit tedious but i am.. play a few holes tomorrow then comp on Sun morning

Believe me i treid to put pics up , have new phone and it says pics are too big when i hit upload . will try sort something later. im totaly useless at it tho
 
This weekend I shall be getting ready on Saturday and on Sunday heading up to Scotland to play the Lansdowne at Blairgowrie, which is the 1st course of our solid week of golf, including Ballater, Moray, Dornoch, Boat and Spey Valley. Cannot wait!
 
Looking at the forecast I shall be playing golf in miserable weather!
 
Looks like another round of hungover golf for me. Tigers v Ulster on the telly tonight so meeting up with some mates for a few beers then a medal at 9.12 tomorrow. Still, nothing better than a breezy round of golf to clear out the cobwebs from the night before.
 
Big Swindle challenge at Aldwickbury Park on Saturday.....all the various swindles in a huge play off to crown the best swindle.....all scores to count from each swindle so no hiding..........

Then Sunday it's the big one!!! Our last scratch match....and it doesn't get any bigger. It's away at Chesfield Downs and if we draw or win, we get promoted......if they beat us 8-4 or better, then they get promoted......if they beat us but less than 8-4 another team gets promoted!!!!! All to play for......they have a strong side and we have some of our best players out....not going to be easy.... But we'll give it our all.

Really pleased with how it's gone in my first season as the scratch team captain, and if we get promoted, it will be the first time the club has played in division 3....not bad considering some at the club didn't think I should even be in the scratch team.....

So come Sunday night, I'll either be posting incoherent drunken posts, ..........or not........... :rolleyes:

gl mate, hope youve plenty of bad weather golfers in your team :)

wont you be back in the bottom division with you new club next year anyway ;)

As for me, no golf planned, was gonna try and get a late tee in the medal tomorrow but think im gonna have the weekend off having seen the forecast. May well be a night or 2 at the poker tables trying to win a seat to the GUKPT for next week
 
Got second round of the Matchplay championship away at Stevenage Sunday. never played the course so could be interesting - hoping for the rain to have gone by then
 
Club match vs Tylney Park tomorrow. We hold a slender one point advantage from the away leg (first time we've ever won there) and so hoping to finish the season with a victory. Only a friendly match but everyone wants to do their bit but the focus isn't win at all cost. Monthly stableford on Sunday. Not looking ideal conditions for either game and the swing a bit erratic at the moment!

Weekend started today just got home from hollinwell wow what a course that is! Comes highly recommended. :thup:
Skipping the foresomes medal tomorrow so just a bounce game got to try and make the most of a half decent swing at last!
 
Daily Mail foursomes qualifier on Sunday. Waterproofs out of cupboard and dusted down and new set of MacWets in the bag. Deep joy
 
Going to give the Medal a go tomorrow, still not feeling 100%, but having turned down games two days running I'm hoping I'll be well enough to at least enjoy some of the round.
 
I was lucky when I played Cleveland earlier this year. End of Feb and not a breath of wind. My first game of the year and shot 79 - not matched it yet and remains my best of the year.

Texas Scramble for me this weekend. Just out to have a laugh and hopefully shoot under par in the process. No serious play til April now unless we get out of the winter league group.
