Can anybody recommend some golf specific work outs?

I am finding that after 12 or so holes on a hilly course I am struggling to keep myself stable hitting longer clubs!

I do a lot of core work anyway because of a sore back but any other suggestions would go down well

Thanks

It could be a few things.

Unfit
Dehydrated
not eating properly.
legs not strong enough.
To me it sounds like your bottom half is struggling.
If your core is relatively strong, you should be able to hold yoursellf stable for the full 18.
However if your legs are getting weak, you could suffer.
Maybe work on your overall fitness, cardio, leg strenthening etc.
The other thing it could be lack of fluid or food that makes you go weak.

Pilates is good but it sounds like you need more leg power (Bodyweight squats should do the job). If you are out of breath from the hills then powerwalking hill workouts twice a week should solve that.
