Thinking about bringing my friend over from Canada for a golfing break in Scotland.

Love to get on the Old Course, anyone ever done it? I'm expecting it to be pretty tough to do.

I know my Dad in the 70s played there several times.

I just think if your going to come all the way over from Canada to Scotland, you have to play it.

Where in Wales do you live fella? Im from Aberdare we could always meet up for a game.

If your going to Celtic Manor get a 2 fore 1 voucher and play the roman road cant fault that course for 15 each with a voucher.

I live North Wales. Hawarden at the moment.

Always open for a game.

I see in your sig your handicap is 'unofficial 28', you need an official handicap to get on the Old course. Plenty of other options for you though as none of the other courses in St Andrews require a handicap.

Just take him to the New or the Jubilee and tell him it's the Old Course.
He won't know any difference as all links courses look the same.

Just kidding

Yeah I would know though. I want to play there, and he would know. He's a golfing nut like me.

Ok, so I get a handicap. Considering joining a society, so I may be able to get one with that.
