Golfing after a broken leg.

Firstly hi everyone

Secondly what's everyone experience of golfing after a leg break??

Broke my left leg in January,it was a spiral fracture (google it) so not your average leg break,have metal plate and screws in the leg that wont be removed. Really gutted about the break but I'm nearing the end of my recovery so has anyone got any advice for me?

Welcome to the Forum
Shattered my ankle 12 years ago. Couldn't play for a year and after that I just built up slowly, starting with range work to get the feeling, then a series of 9 holes before getting back into it.
Took me about 6 months after restarting to feel comfortable and that the ankle wouldn't go again...
 
My advise would be speak to your consultant, on he will know the true extent of your injury, he may be able to give some sort of gym program to get you back on track quicker.
 
i have played WITH a broken leg .
36 holes .ached like hell ,went to hospital the following day and the x-ray showed a break just below the knee[about two inches below],
best of luck with your comeback .
