Honestly, where did the sense of enquiry in the young go to? It's called research and you might just find it useful one day ;)

If you've ever read GM, you will know the world is full of magnificent golfing destinations, so until you say what country you want to go to or how much you want to spend, no-one here can give you anything useful to work with. I mean for crying out loud, they've just this issue given you a list of the best courses in Europe!

But as you haven't given us anything to work with I will recommend staying at Blue Canyon Country Club & Spa and playing the Canyon and Lakes courses. In Phuket.

Algarve in Portugal, or Belek in Turkey are current popular golf destinations that don't break the bank.

Personally I like Florida, but it is getting expensive.

Had a great time in Buenos Aires, but again, expensive, and you need to speak Spanish.

Cape town is good too. But again, long flight, and not cheap.

By the way i have GM sitting right next too me.

Read it then, the travel section might help, don't always think that you have to go abroad, you say that you have a price range, if you don't mind me asking what is it? If your asking us to help you find a destination would be nice to have a price range otherwise it will be four rounds at Sawgrass.

For that, I think you are better off in Europe. Golf in Florida will be £80 per round each, plus accomodation, plus £800 on flights each.

Bear in mind food and accomodation will eat into that, not just the flights and golf.

I've just been for a week in Belek. 6 rounds and all inclusive in a 5 star hotel for £760. I will def be going back, awesome courses and great value.

Look up "Alternative Holidays" on Google.

If it was me, I'd go for Quinta do Lago in Portugal Algarve. Stay at Quinta do Lago Country Club, or Quinta do Lago Hotel. Two superb courses, good enough for the Portugese open, and a chance to bump into some of the top Premier Division football stars. Lovely choice of restaurants and shops locally. Also very near Vale do Lobo and San Lorenzo. Wonderful!!!
