Needed some new grips, Gamola had no stock in the ones I wanted, so tried this mob :

Not impressed - ordered 10days ago, nothing has turned up, don't answer emails or the 'contact' form on the website. Only number is an 0845 and I'm certainly not paying them for the privilege of finding out where the order is.

It all looks decent, but I didn't really research it thoroughly before ordering as it was only for a few grips.... mea culpa. My credit card details are probably somewhere in Bucharest as we speak.

Would appreciate any comments if anyone has actually dealt with them successfully. Or not.

Had a good trawl and i cant find their number, I can however find the owners house, name, pet dogs name and birthday....

If you google their trading address from their website it takes you to a housing estate with some rather nice accommodation
Personally I try to use a website that takes Paypal, then you don't have to give any CC details to anybody.

Not sounding promising and hope you didn't fork out too much or worse have ongoing cc issues. Never heard of them to be honest and use Gamola. Could you start a dispute via the cc company?

Used them before, albeit their ebay shop, with no problem.
You could try looking them up on ebay and using the contact seller option??

In the interests of fairness, I thought I should update this.

I received the order this morning, 2 weeks after placing it.

An hour or so later, I received an email apologising that 'emails had been down' and asking if I had received it.

Luckily I had chasing up the CC company on my list of jobs this afternoon, so that saved all sorts of confusion.

Still feel a bit uncomfortable about it all, one idle moment of carelessness when ordering stuff can lead to all sorts of on-line worries....

If you are ever concerned about buying any type of product online, using scamadviser (see my previous post on this thread) reduces the risk of being caught out. Its stopped me from losses quite a few times. Glad you got your stuff. Emails being down doesn't really explain why your order wasn't received in the first place though!
