Hello guys,
My name is Ruth Senior and I am currently a Masters Student at the University of Gloucestershire. My masters thesis is on the developmental benefits of sport (specifically looking at resilience). I am looking for golfers aged 18-30 who receive coaching for their golf to complete questionnaires on the behaviour of your coach, your resilience, your thought processes, your need satisfaction and some demographics about yourself.

The survey will take no longer then 20 minutes. This research will enhance our knowledge of developmental experiences in sport and design environments that improve functioning in an athlete's everyday life.

Thank you for your time,
Ruth Senior

.......... And exactly what's wrong with us senior players.?????

Old dogs and new tricks and all that I suppose. Ironic that Dr. Ruth has 'Senior' for a surname too.
But seriously, I welcome anybody with a desire to get 18-30yo's into sport via coaching.

The sad thing is has taken til I am 47 years old to realize from my coach who has given me 2 x 1 hour lessons to change my attitude of smashing the ball as hard and as far as i can (all or nothing attitude and playing golf for some 10 years).
So why cant us 'middle age golfers' be considered,as some of us mature later and slower than others !
:D

Nothing! as you can see I like seniors so much that it is in my name :p. I'm only using that age group because I have access to a lot of them through university and you don't have to go through an extended ethics board.
