I was looking to trade in in a set of TM clubs. May also buy some used clubs from them. What's your view of Golfbidder?

Are the clubs sensibly priced? and why does it seem that no one else has done a decent job of selling used clubs online except for this site? are there any other (non auction sites) that anyone knows of?

I've looked on ebay, but can't find the clubs I'm looking for.

Cheers people.

Plenty on here that have used them, myself included, and I can't remember anyone reporting problems, I know I haven't. I've used them since they started life as Mashie Niblicks in Raynes Park.

An alternative might be From Tee 2 Green, who are based at Banstead, very similar business, again I've used them with no problems. Golf Clubs 4 Cash is one that appears on eBay as instant sales rather than auctions.

Why do they appear to be the only decent one online? I believe that they worked hard with local golf clubs and shops to take their second-hand stock off their hands, so effectively built themselves a virtual monopoly on stock whilst providing a service to the outlets who didn't really want 1 or 2 odd sets of second-hand clubs in the shop, who were more than happy to shift their trade ins to them.

MP59's - but found then on Ebay. Must have been me being dozy !

Might see what Golfbidder will give me for my clubs.

Cheers anyway

Fantastic company IMHO

Sold a set if irons and a few wedges a few years back.

Brought from them too with no issues.

You should have no problems if they offer a price you find acceptable.

General consensus seems to be that they are a good company to buy from, not brilliant to sell to.

Easy transactions and never seem to be any issues with delivery etc, but you don't tend to get that great a price for your stuff. If you just want to get rid, not an issue but if you want to use that money to put towards another set, maybe best selling elsewhere.

A pal of mine sold a set of AP2 712's and a 712 d2 driver to Golfbidder for £370 and was quite happy with the prices

Thanks everyone. I'll see what they offer... I'll probably keep them as a spare set !

Do they collect? cos I'm not looking forwards to packaging them up.

I'm another one for tee to green in Banstead, that's where my irons come from. Also another is easy golf exchange, this shop is based at gatton manor golf club, but are great guys who offer more than golf bidder and seem hassle free to deal with ;)

Biggest problem is that some people have unrealistic expectations as to what their clubs are actually worth when asking Golfbidder for a quote for them.

Golfbidder basically buys trade in clubs from pro shop and private sellers, cleans them up and sells them on at a profit. They do check for fake clubs, so you do have an assurance that you are buying genuine clubs, which is not always the case for eBay.

I bought my VR Pro Combo's from Golfbidder. Superb service, will use them again soon, no doubt.

Great opportunity to get kit that's a few years old, but never been used.

I find golfbidders prices a little high, but they are a very reputable company.
