My trousers are only on line after being washed, I dont think I could buy some items of clothing online, too much faffing if they dont fit properly.

Do yourself a favour and find a decent sized Marks & Spencers. The biggest range of trousers you'll see in one place, most of them ideal for the golf course. You can try them on, see which ones you like the best, and they have a returns policy that is the envy of every other retailer in the country. I've bought some golf trousers online before and I can never seem to get ones that fit well.

A word of advice ChrisMc, telephone them before ordering.
I ordered a pair of Strom, le touquets from 4 different sites. All had them in stock, took the payment then responded a number of days later informing me that they weren't in stock but they could send an alternative. If i'd wanted an alternative, i'd have ordered one and certainly not a totally different colour. 3 of the 4 sites I ordered from are mentioned above.
