Golf trolley battery replacement

Time has come to get a new one for my freeway 2.
Has anyone bought an aftermarket one , Yuasa or lucas i see listed on ebay???
Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with them,poor lifespan etc. Its the slim 18 hole version i have.

i have a yuasa, they are excellent whilst they work but i only seem to get 14 or 15 months out of them before they run out of juice, just long enough to have got out of the warranty period lol

Both are major battery manufactures.

Got my replacement battery off ebay for half the price of a golf shop

I have the Lucas, works a charm and half the price.

Mine is constantly on charge when not is use and has no issues (17 months)

Yep it stays on charge all the time Im not playing golf.

Will be hopefully going Lithium when this one gives up the ghost (its 11 months old and using more of the charge during a round than it did a few mths ago). I am quite a heavy user though

Good stuff. I play twice a week tops so hopefully it should do the job
