Wondering if anyone could recommend any good push/pull golf trolleys for around the £70-£100 range. It's just that i'm going to get me old man one for christmas as the cheap one he has is pretty crap to be honest, the wheels fall off every 10mins and it's falling apart.

I've been looking at the powakaddy twinline ranges and the twinline 3 seems a nice sturdy trolley.

I have a twinline 3 which is very light to push around. The break on it is a great feature, otherwise it can start to disappear down the nearest hill. Watch out for the cost of add ons. I bought an umbrella holder for it, and it was over £20.

Yeah one of the shops i went into said that some of the extras are abit expensive and it might be worth paying a little bit extra for the sun mountain micro as it comes with all the holders for it.

Mate has just bought one of those and he swears by it. Folds up incredibly small. I would go for it , but then it's not my money :D

Seems like the sun mountain micro cart is winning at the mintue. Only problem is that i wanted to get him a new bag aswell as he only has my old cheap stand bag strapped to his trolley and wanted to get him a proper trolley bag but not sure i can really afford the micro cart and a decent trolley bag.

I got one earlier in the year and it is cracking, nice and light and folds up small.

yes the add on are expensive, but as long as you know that before you buy the thing don't think that is a problem.

I bought a Sun Mountain V1. Excellent trolley.

Playing partner has a Twinline 3 - Folds down smaller than the sun mountain but as said above, buy the time he bought the brolly holder he was a hell of a lot more expensive than I was for my Sun Mountain (Brolley holder included).

I also find the hand break on the V1 easier to use than the foot brake on the Twinline!
