Golf Trip - Leeds 2015

Just booked a trip up to leeds for Golf later this year.

on the drive up we are playing -
Lindrick
followed by
Moortown
Alwoodley
and
Ganton

on the days after.

on the drive back home we are stopping at Sherwood Forest.

Not Bad eh, 5 rounds all in the top 50 in england (from the list I decided to use in 2011)

Nice trip, have played Lindrick and Sherwood Forest both of which are first class and am looking forward to Alwoodley in April which , by all accounts , is a step up in class.

I am a master organiser. All about planning.

Travelodge is £90 for 3nights, so with 3 in a room £10 a night.

Every single one of the courses offers Twlight or County Card deals, so the most expensive round is Sherwood Forest @ £65 (and i am awaiting a response from them).

Total cost - £320 for 5 rounds of golf and accomodation. Steal

Great trip. I have done a few trips to Harrogate and played courses around there. A couple of times we have dipped into Leeds courses. The standard of courses in that part of the world is excellent. We often go early September and more often than not the weather has been spot on.

I have yet to play Ganton but its on my radar for this Summer on the twilight deal.

thats a cracking price for the courses never mind accommodation as well, have a great time as I'm sure you will.

Sounds absolutely fantastic, great value. I'm going on my first ever golf weekend this year, and I feel like I'm 12 again looking forward to it so much. I can't tell u how much I look forward to playing, it's really is astonishing what golf can do to u......

Sounds good idea I did make a beneral enquiry about any deals and they didnt seem overly keen, but have hosted some amateur tour events so obviously are prepared to do a deal.

Thanks for the offer, I LOVED woodhall when i played there in august, hit 4 iron off basically every tee as i was too scared to miss the fairway!!
