Well folks, I have put my foot down for my big day.

The tables at the reception are all to be named after famous golf courses. We have 7 tables of 10 as well as the top table.

Top Table - St Andrews, Table 1 - Augusta, Table 2 - Carnoustie, Table 3 - Valderrama, Table 4 - The K Club, Table 5 - Royal St Georges, Table 6 - Wentworth, Table 7 - Sawgrass.

We do get our own way sometimes!

I can't believe you are not having a Strathclyde Country Park Muni table. You could have sat all those who's tattoo's were done by a nail next to the criminals and idiots wearing trackies who would bring their own booze to save money.

November the 8th is the day of reckoning.

Stag-do is scheduled for 25th October, we are going to canterbury. The activity is shooting (before booze), then drink, then dinner, the a lap-dancing club, then a nightlub, then a kebab.

No chance of me missing the ryder cup J_F, I aint going to miss a minute of I if I can avoid it.

MWJ--great idea however could i suggest dropping the K club and put in a more deserving Irish course such as Royal Dublin or Portmarnock.

In my view the K club is over priced and over americanised.

and for the cake . . .

Lol, you pinched my idea! :)

Glad another golfer has managed to get course names for their tables. My bride to be was quite relaxed about it. Though to be fair, I have given over control of just about everything else!

MWJ - We think a like! I got married in 2006 in Dunkeld. All our tables were named after well known courses (I actually to proposed the wife in St Andrew's as well!). We were hoping to play the Dunkeld course on the morning of the wedding but the service was just after 12 so it might have been pushing it! Good luck and enjoy your day. ACP

We did exactly the same in December, one of the tables (for my really good mates, most of whom were on the stag) was Sidcup Pitch and Putt....... Oh how we laughed!!!

Good luck mate, and hope all goes well.

By the way Jon when do you want to get together for a round?
