Totally agree! Off topic, Anyone got a quick healing fix for a cut thumb? cut it on a can of cat food, tried laying last night and bled all over my grips. Please dont say i just need to rest it?

Can you still get that synthetic skin stuff? Used to come in a wee bottle you brushed onto a cut. Kinda sealed up the wound like glue. Remember it working in the past.

Good thinking.... i could kill the cat and use it as a head cover..... just joking.

pete, she has dry food aswell. My problem was that I was extremely hungover and not really concentrating.

From my limited know how of medicine, I think super glue was originally invented during vietnam for use by surgeons in lieu of stitches - I do however await howls of laughter and many folks telling me its rubbish.

This was the original use for super glue. Depending on how deep it is, just tape it up with sticky plaster, and take a few spares in your bag to replace it when it bleeds through.

For the cat - pouches of food. Much less dangerous. Also, poor thing gets to eat different flavours more often. Mine always hates the bottom third of the tin.

Barb - Golf? what, on this forum? See what your post has started.....

Irony of ironies eh start with golf and look where you end up........

Used to have a cat and loved him to bits, he jumped into a workies van one day and off he went! I often wonder where he is despite the fact he lived under the old adage dogs have masters, cats have staff!

Mickey,

I've decided to put the car cigarette lighter in to it. It's stopped the bleeding, but boy it hurts.

Na i'm not that hard.
