Hiya after Tony N's comment yesterday about people filming swings, I have decided to upload a video of my swing that was taken a couple of months ago.

Very quick tempo and the stance looked a little closed to me although I dont know if that was intended.

Where did the ball land? WHERE YOU HAPPY? lol

I would love to swing this fast, If I did though, I would come in way outside and prob hit a power fade. When I get carried away at the range I do this, the ball goes no further but it does feel good to grip and rip sometimes.

Nice tempo mate,

keep your weight on your right knee a bit more on the back swing its a bit straight atm which makes it look a little flat

No, it was at wetherby golf club, I cant remember what hole it was, I just remember it was just under 400 yards long and dog legged to the right.

You seem to be putting the power in right at the top of the swing when you dont need to but it looked a decent swing to me and very relaxed too, if it works for you dont change it. Keep golfing.

I'm no coach, but my thoughts...

Legs a little straight/locked out perhaps, backswing quite flat, and you dont complete your backswing before you start your downswing, ie before the club reaches level etc.

However, a 3/4 swing is sometimes the best way to stay consistent, so perhaps leave that element alone

You do realise that asking us all for our thoughts, which then start eating away inside your head, is a sure fire way of screwing up everything !!

Looks fine really, and most importantly, it went where you wanted !

Looks good to me. Simple back and swoosh. Too dark and too fast for me to offer anything else....except


check it out.....perfect "one plane" swing......

actually better than Vijay....who's a tad over-ccoked. But his hands are better, yours have got behind the line I'd expect to see.

rguk, I know, I filmed are kids shot before mine and that is fine, handed him my phone for him to film me and it came out all dark. I will try and get a better video next time I am on the course

Pretty good all in all and shows that you are a decent golfer. I think there is a much lower handicap in there
