Golf Stag Do

Hi All

Was sure where to post this but I am looking to have a Golf Weekend as a stag do next year and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to go.

All ideas welcome but we are looking to say in the UK.

is a good place to start. They have options for every budget. There are loads of places you could go, I would suggest a "resort" course, as they might offer better packages with food etc included.

Belton Woods in Lincolnshire is pretty good. And the golf courses are actually in really good nick these days. (Greens are ridiculous!)

I had my stag do at a place called Farthingstone, near Northampton. 3 nights dinner, B&B, unlimited golf, 4 free drinks per night £209! Bargain! Also have squash courts and a snooker room. We're going back in October, so will report back.

Course is really good in places - it's a hotel-type course, but there's some interesting and challenging holes to keep everyone happy.

Near Bath is a place called The Park resort, and that course is really nice and challenging when the wind blows. Hotel good value also.

Going upmarket is East Sussex National which has 2 excellent courses and a really nice hotel.

Been on a couple of these and alot depends on the mix of abilities in the group. If quite a few are new to the game or only play occasionally then a tricky course is going to be frustrating for both the group and the others on teh course. Last one I went to was on the easier of the two courses at Belton Woods and that seemed to suit everyone, though the beer, food and rooms there are pretty pricey.

Cheap golf, great golf courses,cheap beer and plenty to be getting up to at night time.

Best golf holiday I have ever been on was in Prague.

there will be a couple that dont play much.

I have just started but are aiming to be playing to low 20's by then. Also have a person who plays off 10 so abilites cover a big range.

we was looking at the belfry and play the Derby Course and the PGA national.

Bournemouth - several great courses and a top town for bars, clubs, beach and skimpy girlies!!
