Can one advise me on which pair of golf shoes to buy, preferably water proof/resistant. I don't justify spending £130 plus on a pair looking around the £75 £80 range, I am a 70 yrs old 20 handicapper .....cash a little tight lol

Maybe use this years winter allowance to stretch to a pair of adidas adipure classics.
I bought a pair last week from American Golf for £109 who price matched.
Main benefit they come with 2 year waterproof guarantee.
Happy days 👍

best bet is to find last years version of what ever shoe you are trying to get and you'll save a fortune. no reason to spend over £100!

If you're happy that you know your size - say a 10m in Footjoy is a perfect fit - then you might find a bargain on eBay.
Last year I got a brand new pair of FJ Sport for £45...

I've tried Nike, Stubert, Callaway and all let water in before the warranty expires.Usually buy a pair every winter because of this. But while I was trading in clubs I mentioned about my current shoes and he told me to fetch them and he sent them back and offered me some Footjoys. If these don't do two winters I will come to the conclusion there is no such thing as waterproof shoes.
