Nevada Bobs up by me had last years Nike Tiger Woods shoes reduced to 75.00 from 120.00. Try the website, they seem to have a few good ones on sale...

You should find some bargains about if you look carefully.

Last years versions of top of the line shoes are a good target.

Do not buy last years Adidas 360 (version 1 or 2) they are comfortable as slippers but about as durable and waterproof!!

Hello all. Speaking of golf shoes - has anyone tried any by Cleveland. I really like the Chev I range, thinking about buying some. My worry being that the style i like looks a little garish and bowling shoe-esque....

Would love to hear any feedback on Cleveland shoes you've got.

i saw someone wearing those yesterday and they looked like trainers, not a good look with golfing trousers imo, couldn't comment on what they are actually like though without wearing them i prefer footjoy but have used nike and they weren't to bad.

Oops - i did indeed mean Callaway, not Cleveland madandra. Apologies and to quote the other (albeit now less famous than the forums own Homer J Simpson) DOH!

Agree on the trainers feel, i fear some golf clubs may look a little unfavourably on them....

Footjoy AQL. Mine fit me like a glove and i am particular when it comes to shoe seeing as i have size 15's and at this size there is a lot of variation in sizing. I paid £69 at NB.

I also have footjoy's AQLs they ar fantasticly compfortable and i've had no problems with water proofing... unlike the addidas suposedly "guaranteed water proof" shoes (i had to return after 1 month) i had before.

They must be tried on though.. i was a different size compared to what i would normally go for ...although i cant remember off hand wether they were bigger or smaller.

Been using Hi-Tec V lite for couple of months now and most comfortable shoe I've worn in a long time (not really had to test its waterproofing qualities yet fortunately) The previous golf shoes over the last 2 years have been Nike which were hopeless, not comfy and as waterproof as my socks and then Adidas which were quite a bit better than the Nike but just a bit narrow for my feet, the Hi-Tec has quite a wide fitting if you have large and wide feet like myself.

ecco shoes look great but they were too wide for my feet. My wife warned me because hers were too wide too. So I bought a pair of footjoys golf athletics. they fitted perfectly, top shoe for all golfers in need for narrow shoes!

Parmo, top shout.

If you can get some Ecco shoes they are excellent.

Cheers. I was in the ECCO shop in Leeds on Friday and they where selling seconds (not second-hand) in the shop with about 30% off golf shoes, I was soooo close to them and the wife copped me and I ended up with some Yak skin trainer/shoes for £70 reduced from £110

I use Stuburt Hel Pro and love them, I don't like the look of the new ones this year so might try the Dryjoys later in the year depending on the state of the Stuburts.

My first pair of shoes I got last year when I started playing where some Adidas cheapish ones, there where by far the most painful shoes and leaked like siv.
