Looking for recommendations for some new shoes. Using Footjoy AQLs, but as the temp increases my feet are getting sweaty! I know its about fit, some guidance will help. Seen the Adidas 4.0, but as seen wear out quickly. I like the look of the AdiPure shoes, SWEET!! no more than £100 though really!!

Adipure's are gr8 but heavy I find. Ideal for the winter but during the summer they will be too warm.

Have a look at the Puma Cell Fusion. They look awesome.

I have the Puma cell fusion and they are "awesome". I only paid £45 for mine on Ebay and they were in mint condition. They really are comfortable. I haven't tried them in the proper wet yet though, only showery conditions.

The wide fit? they are a small shoe I measured my feet on the footjoy thing the other day and need xw shoes a bit like my troos

I picked up a pair of brand new footjoy synrg on fleebay for £65. SHop around. My mate raves about his Stuburt as well

Nike Lunar Control. Light, comfortable, waterproof and less than £80.

Looking for a new pair myself at the moment.

Main problem is they're either too formal to wear with shorts or just f'ugly. No one seems to rate ANY shoe for their waterproof qualities.

Having been down the cheap and not so cheerful route with a pair of HiTec's that cut my heels to shreds and never broke in but just broke instead I'm tempted to chuck some serious money at some and see if that works.

Think I might give up on shorts, buy some light weight summer trousers and get a pair of Ecco World Class or Comfort Classics.
