Looking for a pair of golf shoes that meet following criteria -

  • 10 or 10.5 UK size
  • leather upper
  • Wide fit or roomy regular fit
  • Waterproof
  • Spiked
  • Traditional - ish look
  • black, brown or white or combo of these colours preferred
  • £100 budget delivered

Anyone give me a steer (or a link), wide or roomy fit is paramount.
I understand adidas wide fit is not wide at all - anyone confirm?
Anyone discoved any unknown brands from obscure outlets they've liked i.e. European makes etc.

I await some suggestions with antici....pation.:)

I have a pair of Adidas wide fit at the moment and went 1 size up and they fit perfect. 11 in FJ and 12 in Adidas.

Footjoy - I am also a wide foot and there shoes are available in these fittings

Very comfortable

Have Footjoy Contour and Footjoy Casual

Footjoy DNA love mine, would recommend getting measured for them though I'm and 11 in everything but a 10 in these for some reason.

I always get adidas wide fit and they are pretty wide - not sure why anyone would think they are not wide. The boost is really comfortable as well - my legs get noticeably less tired than in my nike shoes.

If you go to a Footjoy supplier they will measure your feet with a Branaugh slide device as Footjoy do several widths E EE EEE .
I had mine made to measure as my left foot is 9E and right foot 10EE cost a bit more £120 worth it though.
Best investment I have ever made .
Contours best shoes out of the box.

Tried Adidas boost but the material in the heel fell apart after a couple of rounds.
Not very wide so you end up getting bigger size and they don't fit properly then.

Having always previosly brought Ecco shoes but having to go 1 size larger I would recommend FJ - my club had a FJ fitting day to measure and recommend size

+ another bonus they appear much better value than Ecco

I also brought a pair of Skechers summer shoes at the week end, these accomodated my wide feet also at the correct size

thanks for the help, footjoy it is even if it means a bigger spend.
