Yesterday I went to a local range and hit 100 balls really well whilst working on my swing path. Tonight i've just come back from a different range and don't think I hit more than 20 good shots out of the 100 balls i hit. The balls at the range tonight were looking pretty old and well used, whereas the balls at yesterdays range looked almost new. Could it be the balls that were at fault or am i just looking for an excuse to blame my tools so to speak?

Thanks

I'd say you're looking for excuses! lol

Range balls, for the most part, are all crap anyway. Apart from the ones at Wynyard anyway which are all Titleist!!

I dont think the quality, or lack of quality on a poor ball anyway, would make a difference to 80% of your shots.

Would it not be better to just put it down to one of those? We all have them, I had one on Sunday! lol

i agree :D

I agree with the other posts too and don't think its the balls. OK old range balls won't fly that true but if your putting bad swings on them to start with then they are never going to fly well. Put it down to a bad day or practicing too much. I can get pretty stale if I hit the range every night.

Don't listen to them it was the balls, I tell you, you'll prob swing like me and the crap shots are always down to the balls, or the club, or the tee, or the wind, or the wet, or the sunshine,or the ground. Its never me!
