I was at the london golf show recently and realised that many companies (especially clothing companies) are using outrageously good looking women to promote their gear.. usually in only a bikini and cap... wot do all you guys think about this tactic and the ways in which it can take golf?

Any marketing company will use beautiful women to sell stuff, golf stuff is no different. Just the way the world works - it's not wrong we'd just rather see fit birds swing clubs than tubby bald middle aged men! Once they've lured you to their stand they have more chance of getting you to buy something you most likely dont need - you have to rise above your caveman instinct and walk away!!

if i went to the show, i would be looking at the stand with the best looking women, definitely not the stand with an average looking golfer. im sure most blokes would agree if they were honest.

its a shame people are worried when golf becomes exciting, sexy and interesting.... (not just referring to the women here)

I think it adds to the glamour, I'm a big fan of Di Stewart who presents golf night, I also belive she palys of sigle figures as well......What a woman ;o)
