Hi there

I'm not sure if anyone here can help me out... I'm not a golfer, but own a house next to a golf course on the outskirts of West London. I'm now thinking of moving and thought it may be a good idea to put the house up for sale with a company that specialises in Golf property. Question is, does such a company exist? I know that golf property is very popular abroad, but I have no idea about the UK.

I would be really grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction

Thanks
Mark

Welcome to the forum Mark.

Is the house part of the golf course? Or is it just sited alongside one?

I know the apartments abroad are usually part of a golf resort. Generally speaking, houses over here "just happen" to be built alongside golf courses.

See your Estate Agent, it could be sold as "overlooking the golf course"
Best of luck!

Hi

Thanks for your reply. The house was built in about 1850, and the golf course in about 1946, so they are not linked. The golfcouse is a municiple course (I think that's what it is called - no membership fees are required), and there are only 6 house, surrounded by the course and farmland. As it would be ideal for a golfer, I wanted to find out if there was a good way to reach this sort of market. Are houses advertised in Golf Monthly?

Cheers
Mark
