Is anyone playing. It's another club Greensomes for the men this morning. HID and his partner are hoping to make it three out of three wins. I'm out after lunch for a knock but will probably just do nine.

Nope..played yesterday for the last time this year.
Off to the In-Laws for Xmas - FIL keeps me in beer, MIL keeps me in food so what's not to like.
Might get back to golf on 2nd Jan.

Liking my odds this year, windy weather and I've placed in every comp since we started off winter mats this year.

I went back up to RAGC this morning for the first time since I moved. It was good to catch up with Homer and the rest of the old roll-up mob. I also had the pleasure of meeting Ads749r, my replacement as Homer's 4BBB partner. Things went well on the course too as I shot 7 over gross for 38 points :thup:

Tomorrow is the Turkey Trot at Blackmoor. I'm pretty sure the format is Foresomes Texas Scramble (if there is such a thing). I have no idea how that will pan out but looking forward to it all the same.

I'm trying to adjust to my grip and swing changes so had a wee range session before playing 15 holes solo, hitting lots of balls.

Finding it difficult and a bit dispiriting at times but, when I do get it right, I'm hitting some shots that were simply beyond me before.... So it seems worthwhile persevering....
