Golf plan insurance????

Anyone used them in the past??
I've used golf care for a few years now however I don't like the fact you don't list the items you own or send them pictures etc.

Golf plan have a section where you list all of your equipment and costs etc.

I go abroad golfing once a year so really need all my stuff fully insured incase they go missing.

I've used them for about 6-7 years now, not had to claim, costs a bit more, but covers everything.

Be careful what type of insurance you get. My brother in law had his car stolen last week with his clubs in the boot as he was playing the next day. Phoned his golf insurers to inform that this had happened and they said that if the car was stolen between the hours of 22.00 and 08.00 then you aren't insured as he didn't take the 24 hour option when he took out his insurance.

Fortunately his car has been recovered now and his clubs are still in the boot!! Obviously not a fan of Ping and TM clubs!!

Really good point, thankfully 24hr cover in vehicle is covered by Golf Plan.

I use Golf Plan. Thankfully the only claim I have had to make is for a hole in one and they paid that in full within a couple of weeks.Due to the service I have stuck with them for the last 6 years.Son had his distance device smashed by an errant shot from another fairway and again that was resolved within 3 weeks.He didn't get full value of the item but it was a substantial part of the cost of replacement.i will stick with them due to the service received.
