Is unreal, I played today and the fairways were like iron, so much so that I reached a par 5 with a drive and a wedge! Its golf but not as we normally paly it.

its not Louise- it's a lottery and no fun whatsoever (apart from the first and last time you try it)

For me its just having a laugh and swinging a club - no seriousness in it and just enjoy being out and able to play :D

Had my first really icy experience this week and great for the ego with the big stick. . Not much fun trying to stop a ball on the green though:mad:

I think I hit my longest ever drive on the par 5 10th hole today!

Trouble was that my gap wedge which normally goes 98 yards also went itps furthest ever distance on the par 3 5th!

Don't normally play when icy but one year when visiting my dad in Yorkshire there was no other option as we wouldn't get a game otherwise. I drove the green on the 8th at Dewsbury, a 386 yard uphill par 4. If only I could do that in normal conditions:)
