Golf Nr Edinburgh

My work will be taking me to Edinburgh for a weekend and I hope to have the Sunday free. I'd like to get out for a game is possible, while I realise there are loads of courses nearby, I am looking for one that will also have clubs for hire as I wont be taking my own.

Any suggestions?

Gullane? 3 courses, all pretty good and you can hire clubs according to their site.

Gullane no.2 is great value and a wonderful course. No.3 is also a worthy choice and you can split the two rounds with a spot of lunch

Slightly different suggestion, give Musselburgh old course a shot, they hire clubs with the option of hickory clubs too.I ran round it a couple of nights ago and it looked in excellent condition.

I hired clubs and played Prestonfield gc ten mins. From city centre, nice enough course with stunning views of Arthers Seat.

Have to agree with this, can't get any better than the choice of courses. Any that you play you'll enjoy. If I was to choice which one it would be the west links any day. Great course.
