So golf's not the only sport to see participation numbers falling. Even the number one participation sport in the country has experienced a drop.

I'm not surprised. Our place is a dirty poo hole and I wouldn't be seen dead in it. £5 to get in too. Blurg !

Compare that to Silves in Portugal. Fantastic, clean facilities that include a whirlpool and a sauna lovely warm water to shower in afterwards and free hairdryers that all work (for those that use them). £3 !
