Not sure that I'm particularly bothered about the majority of USPGA events being back on Sky this year. Nice to have the Player Championship again but i can take or leave most of the others.

Bit miffed that they look to have dropped Golf Night in the format it was previously. Always found Mark Roe, Simon Holmes etc's analysis to be vey interesting.

Not sure that "Hank Weisbergerstein" hitting shots at the "Greater Bowdiddlyboing Classic" is all that interesting??!!

To be honest I'm not fussed one way or another. I've been watching the golf live today anyway but I guess the problem will come when the main European season starts and I'm out playing and I miss the days action. I presume they'll do something to accommodate fans and maybe show the highlights at say 6.00 until 8.00 before the US coverage.

I like watching the majority of the US tour although I concur that some unknown ranked 257th in the rankings playing in the Al Peterson Repairshop Charity event from Deadstone, South Nowhere isn't always that great but at least we'll get the PGA Championship and the bigger US events again too

Don't watch it then!

As Drawboy says any golf is good...I'll watch almost anything as I take a great deal of interest in all golf tours so I will certainly be watching a bit tonight and there are quality golfers on show.

Gutted about golf night, not bothered about Roe and co but no Di Stewart???? Come on sky sports get it sorted eh

Good to have the American stuff back but be a shame if it means the end of golf night. Hopefully sky can fit it in somewhere on there 4 sports channels!!!

Am i right in saying that Golf Night is axed so.
It was great to be able to sky+ the events but HiD's used to kill me as it took up heaps of memory....Id come in from work put the feet up with the dinner and watch all the days action for the night.....Recently i began watching golf night as it took up less i got to drool over Di and was always very good and HiD was happy that she could record Westenders,Corporation St,Flemmerdale, the usual craic.... :D :D

thats what sky plus is for

Just watching the PGA golf and just seen the Golf Channels' "Aim Point" which superimposes the theoretical line of the putt. It's sponsored by "Fidelity". Do you think they might be Tiger's new sponsors? :o

i think he knew where the hole was

What's with the suited and booted look. I use to like Roe's really loud shirts on Golf Night. Have they been told to smarten their image to present the US coverage?

Agree Homer. Maybe we should start a campaign to get them back, might stop them talking about Tiger all the time :(

I reckon we'll see a Sky golf channel before long - I for one would like to see all tourneys - Asia/Euro/US and womens golf on the box. With the state of the sports finances, I reckon I could scrape together enough to buy the rights for the LPGA...
