Golf Near Center Parcs?

I'm heading to Center Parcs in Whinfell Forest and I've noticed that it's very handy for Penrith Golf Club. Has anyone played there? Is it a nice course?

Are there any other good options within about 30 mins drive?

When I went to it before it was centre parcs there was a deal going to play the course at discount rates and maybe some coaching etc.

Do they still do that?
