Golf Music

No way, I love the peace and quiet I get. I have the radio on at work, home, car and gym I want to be in peace when im on the course, unless im with a mate.

Just wondering if any of you people out there listen to any music whilst playing golf. I personally do when I'm just going round for fun as it helps me feel natural, in my element and relaxed. Give your views! :D

No chance, I would have the right arse if I didnt hear a shout of fore and ended up with a lump on my head!

What do you listen to? Something golf related i hope!

The Eagles? The Birdie Song? Iron Maiden? Al Green? Booker T? Muddy Waters? Albatross by Fleetwood Mac? Green Day?

Oh! I can't be bothered ..... someone else will have to think of more. :D

I sometimes listen to music on the range when I am practicing- good for my rhythm. VJ Singh does it as well. Never on the golf course though.

Often thought about the idea, especially with the age of mp3 upon us. However for the sake of safety (We all want to hear the word FORE!!!, or FORE RIGHT!!!, if its shouted in our direction, otherwords it'll be grouse, rather than duck...rofl), I don't entertain or recommend the idea. Anyway, its a bit antisocial putting those earphones in & I doubt a getto blaster strapped to my cart bag would go down well playing anything from Fairport Convention to Black Sabbath, would go down particularly well with the club seceratary ...rofl.

I have been known to. the wires are easier to deal with when you have a jacket of course. earphones aren't a problem as mine have ear-hooks.

as you've pointed out the problem is hearing a warning -especially as to me, music is meant to be loud - thing is though that there aren't that many who give them.
