Golf Monthly is £4 per month at present which equates to £48 annually.

I have just taken up the half price offer and was advised that the price was £26.

This maybe because of the postage costs. Perhaps someone in The office could explain why there is a £2 discrepancy?

£2.17 an issue and you are still whinging....if this was Vig from Yorkshire I could understand it tho... ;)

Think you need to read my post again. Cannot recall there was any whinging , merely passing a comment and asking a question.

Hi 3offthe tee - from this year onwards are now producing 13 issues this year (includes a Ryder Cup special) so it is £2 an issue

Subscribers get P&P free and if you take ou this offer you'll also be beating the 10p cover prince increase that comes in from April as well

Mike, If you are looking for a reader to go along with you to the Ryder Cup, interview some players, spend some time in the custom fitting centres and give a reader's eye view of this illustrious event for your RC Special Edition I am sure I could jiggle a few things around and make myself available!! :D

Speaking of discrepancies, I think the £26.00 is great value, but can you explain where you get the €64.00 for Irish subscribers from?
Living in Ireland this is what I would have to pay.
At the current exchange rate of .87p to the Euro (.869000 to be precise) that would work out at just under €30.00. Why are you asking me to pay more than double that amount?
Why can't I pay in sterling?? :D

Hi Weldman
I have to be honest and say I dont know so I'm not going to guess - I will ask out subs department and post back a response ASAP

Hi Weldman

I've had an email back from the subs department and they say...

"Due to logistical fulfillment issues we don't offer rates specific to individual countries in Europe but instead cover the whole of Europe in one price. As postal costs vary greatly across the whole of Europe some countries will get a better deal than others. All overseas subscriptions prices are taken in sterling and converted from the current euro exchnage rate"

Far from perfect I accept

£2, the you go dodger, i'm in ;)

Thanks for the reply MikeH, although a tad unfair I think. Somebody in Northern Ireland can avail of the £26.00 sub, where as a person living across the border (in some cases less than a mile away) will be charged the €64.00 rate.
Did you not mention in an earlier post the P&P was free?? :(
