What would the chances be of Golf Monthly giving a Golf Monthly bag tag to forum members after they have made 100 posts.


Then when you reach another landmark you get a new sticker NEWBIE MEMBER <font color="brown"> JOURNEYMAN ADDICT OLD HAND (Grey= Old hand ... get it ???????) when you reach the relevant milestone.

I am aware this may be a bit sad but it would be cool playing a course and clocking another sad b'stard tag.

You could even get a special sticker if you get a mention in the magazine

We are after all, a club. Lets make it official.

I suppose its a cost / reward thing really. Perhaps its something, if it was to happen, would need to be organised outside of GM Towers.

Though I am happy for MikeH or someone else to come along and prove me wrong.

It is a great idea. I keep all my old tags from pro-ams going right back to my assistant pro days in 82-83.

I like the idea of different stickers for being published (does my original blog count as I was only published online and not in the mag) and for the number of posts

just about the best part of this forum is the fact the magazine blokes take an interest in the forum and therefore in us and what we want and where possible give us what we want.
