Hi all,

Used to be a regular on here but haven't been able to play over the past few years, but the bug has bitten me again so I am back!

Currently a final year student at the University of Birmingham and looking for a course in the city or surrounding area to join for the year :)

Have heard great things about Harborne GC but have not had the chance to play it, anyone played some of the courses nearby or can recommend anything?

Cheers

Loved Edgbaston, right in the centre but wouldn't know. Not sure on current membership but if you were young e.g. under 25 then it was fairly well priced. Expensive though once over 30.

Moseley is good course too, allow reduced sign up fee and then pay and play (but can't get a handicap).

Lickey Hills as a council course on outskirts of Birmingham isn't too bad a place to play if you didn't want membership.

Played Harbourne a couple of years back, was a lovely course from what I can remember. All depends on where your digs are really.
