I have some new irons on the way and have spent quite a bit of money recently on new gear so I need to get my things insured. I need club cover obviously as well as cover if I take out a windscreen with my slice in the car park! Any recommendations appreciated.

Best one i have found is Golf Care
I was £55 this year as i need european travel cover aswell.

Im sure they were doing 30% off for new customers last month.

I claimed them a few years back for a 3 wood and they were no problem. £50 excess and i got the full value of the 3 wood in American Golf on credit.

You have to have the reciept for the clubs though. Or else it is 2nd hand value iirc

My clubs are that old the receipt was written on papyrus, I'm with Golfshield.

Golf plan is brilliant, not cheap and no gimmicky extras but great service and a very comprehensive policy. I damaged my driver on a range a few weeks ago and after a few iPhone photos and claim form completed I got a cheque for the insured value 3 days later. Can't praise them enough.
