golf in tunisia

hi guys

going to tunisia for a week tomorrow and were we are staying (el kantaoui) has 2 championship golf courses and my parents have said i can play 1 round

there are 2 courses , the sea course and the panoramic course , has anyone had any experience of playing these ?

also , when you have played abroad and renter clubs before , what were the clubs like ?

I played there about two years ago, they are poor courses that are hugely overpriced. Hold on to your money i say.

Forgot to add, i rented clubs here too and they were about 20 year old no name brands. Absolute dirt!

Last year,I played at a course called Flamingo something or other,10/15 minute drive out of Monastair,when I contacted the pro for a tee time for 4 of us, he asked what hotel we were staying,and he arranged to pick us up from outside the hotel,On arrival at the course,promptly gave us a few warm up exercises,gave us a bucket of range balls,then gave us a couple of tips,the course was in excellent condition,Overall, couldn't fault it at all, a great experience.We took our own set of clubs.
