Evening, going for a friends wedding in May and would like to get a game in whilst we're out there.

All the courses are coming up at around the $150 and that's before the club rental. As you can imagine the price really ramps up when you add it all together.

Anyone been before and recommend anything more reasonable? Looking at $150 all in.

Depends on where you're going in the DR, some hotels will sort out cheaper tee time deals when you're there.

Who you flying with? Think Thomson take clubs for £20 and Virgin will fly them for free, could save you money on renting some over there.

Worth checking with your hotel, many have deals woth local courses. Bear in mind you are obliged (must have)a local caddie and they are about $20, all in you can get a decent track for sbout $200 but not much less. Let us know how you get on

Thanks for the replies.

Flying BA and going to Punta Cana. The hotel I'm staying at advertises "free golf" for guests but has a compulsory buggy charge of $60.
Mate's staying at a different hotel so it'll be $150 for him to join me.

Think I may just book that for us both and split it down the middle even though it's "free" for me.
