Golf in Spain

Hi everyone,

I'd love to chat with anyone who has visited / played at La Manga Club, or any of the other superb golf courses in Murcia, Spain.

7 new courses have opened in the last 5 years, and there are another 6 or 7 due to open by the end of this year.

The region of Murcia, Spain is becoming internationally renowned day by day amongst the world’s lovers of golf. It’s location, good communication network and it’s climatic conditions make it a preferred choice for lovers of this wonderful sport. El Valle Golf Course will be the next 18 hole professional course to open by Nicklaus Design and Polaris World. This course opens in June, are any of you coming over this Summer?

This is an old post revival but hey ho.

I visit 4 times a year to the region, have a couple of properties over there.

I have played all 3 courses on a number of occasions at La Manga. I much prefer the North course to the south & west but all of them are fantastic and challenging!

Other courses I play in the area are La Fincha, Las Ramblas, Campomoar, Villamartin to name a few. We have just bought a villa in Polaris World (Hacienda Riquelme). La Torre looks a good course and is on my visit list for my upcoming September trip.
