Hi all,
My wife and I are holidaying South England for 2 weeks from 16/8. The 1st week we plan to spend B&B’ing in Dorset, maybe with a peek into Wiltshire or Somerset (depending on which sights we decide to enjoy), the 2nd week we stay near Hever Castle (Kent). The idea is to play a couple of rounds each week so if anyone have suggestions for suitable courses I’d be happy to hear their views.
I have off course looked around myself but hands on experience would be nice. What we’re looking for are courses with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where you feel welcome whatever your sex or handicap (we play off 17 and 31), it doesn’t have to be championship courses and we have no preferences as to type of course (though maybe not too hilly, we are on holiday after all!).
Hope for some input.

Regards

In Dorset, Parkstone, Ferndown and Broadstone are wonderful but may be a bit ''exclusive'' for your liking. Yeovil, Weymouth, Came Down and Sherborne are less demanding but are also fun. 2 years ago I discovered Bulberry Wood, very pretty and not difficult.
Good Luck
