Im your man here,I bummed/hussled around Florida for 3 months many years ago and played a LOT of golf around the Orlando Area.

Play Falcons Fire, its just off the 192 near Kissimee and amazingly is a public course. Its amazing because of the facilitys and condition, the GPS enabled buggys are a really nice touch.

When I was there the fees were reasonable for the quality, the twilight rate is always good but you will play the 18th in fading light.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED!!!!!

If you dont mind a bit of a drive then Stoneybrook is spot on as well

International off international drive is worth a game.

I played a couple of rounds last October with my son, and can 2nd Falcons Fire, very nice and good value too.

A lot a courses are pretty pricey these days, so best see what they'l offer, and call ahead to book etc.

Also played Mystic Dunes too, which was very nice, but quite tricky.
The kind of place where you had to now exactly where to hit it, as very often you were quite blind off the tee etc.

You wont go wrong with Falcons Fire tho.

Played last September at Orange lake, parents timeshare. Both Reserve and Arnold Palmer designed Legends course are good quality, Legends much better looking, they also have a par 3 walking course playable at night a seperate 9 hole cranes bend course and Rick mccord academy for lessons. I am returning this year for two more rounds at the legends and a third elsewhere so i am also open to suggestions.

Cheers for that, checked out the link to web site and have found out its very close to where i'm actually staying , rates look reasonable as well, they are giving you a 30% discount beacause the greens are not up to usual standard because of bad weather , will give it a go though, cheers

A couple of years ago I played Eagle Pines its near Lake Buena Vista excellent golf but mind the water and the gators and snakes if you tee off early. Score card actually says dont feed the Gators

I played at Highlands Reserve last August, went off after 3 and got a twighlight rate. It is not a bad course and the staff were very nice and helpful. We actually stayed in a house on the course and it was busy first thing in the morning as the regulars teed one after another from first light, but later in the day it was quiet (we just rolled up and played).

Hi all,

I would highly recommend you play Mystic Dunes, it is the best course I have ever played! I want in November on a boys trip, we played 7 courses and was the best course we played, and everyone agreed! It was fairly cheap aswell and the greens are quite difficult, there was one hole where it looked like you could see all the green. My mate missed the green left and we thought it would just be on the fringe......it wasn't! He had hit the green but had a slope that was about 6ft high!! Needless to say his first attempt never got up the hill!!

I'd also go to an Edwin Watts store and buy something and then ask if they have any vouchers, we got a 10% off our round at Mystic Dunes, plus vouchers for other courses!

Hope you have a good trip!
