Hi,
In 2 weeks I'am going to be in Ireland with 2 freinds on a golf trip.
We are planning to play at Arklow Links, Druids Glen, Druids Heath and Monty-course at Carton House.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about their experience withe those courses.

Thank you very much in advance.

Golfer74 have only played the Monty--IMHO great but tough course-bring you A sand game as the course is littered with bunkers but greenside and fairway.

Have walked Druids Glen during the Irish Open a few years ago looks a super course.

Enjoy your time over here.

Arklow - course okay - nice people

Montgomerie @ Carton House - all holes the same, all dog legs wth bunkers on the corners. Depending on where the tees are you'll either be in every one or never see them!! Good greens.

Druids Glen - good, tree lined, not that memorable

Druids Heath - inland links course, long, good fun, watch out for the lake at the 2nd green and the ridiculous par 3 which is about about 5 or 6 - it's uphill and the green is slopey as buggery, you may a well aim for the front bunker as you'll end up in there sooner or later even if you manage to get anything (including putts) to stay on the green!!!

Where are you staying?
