Golf in Houston

Played lots and lots of golf in Houston as i work out there from time to time. Lots to choose from, i'll name a few and they all hover around the $50-$80 mark unless you can play in the week then around $30-$50
Memorial Park Golf course is a municipal and the best public course there probably and it's cheap. Will have to roll up but they can get you on the week (closed Tuesdays i think)
Tradition course at Cypress Wood - www.cypresswood.com Beauty of a course
Tour 18 Golf Course - www.tour18golf.com has copies of all famous courses from around the world - good fun
Cypress Lakes - www.cypresslakesgc.com decent track too
Message me if you want more info!!! Loads to choose from! You will need a car!!

Many thanks, all info greatly appreciated. We will have a car and are quite happy to drive up to couple of hours for a game at a good course. Any really good private clubs worth contacting? We've done that before and been successful a few times.

Semi private ones that i know of are Redstone which hosts the Shell Houston Open - great course and around £80 to play i think. It's near the airport so from the city about 45min drive.
Private, the best two are http://www.championsgolfclub.com (if you can get on go for it, you never know if you drop them an email and say your thinking of moving. They'd be happy to host you)
Or Shadow Hawk, played this in the summer, it was a regional qualifier for the US Open, great course and immaculate greens (next door to the Houston Club which also has another 36 holes!

Also have some friends who would be happy to get together with a game with ya.
Cheers
