Golf in harrogate??!!

Hi there im currently going to move to harrogate for 2 years with work im looking for cheap golf courses where i can pay and play im not too interested in a membership as i wouldnt get full use of it so im looking at places where i can just have a cheap round after work.
Any ideas??

Flaxby isn't too dear. Ridding park is okay but they charge too much in my opinion. Plenty around north Leeds which fit the bill too. Not played anyof the Harrogate courses yet though.

I dont think harrogate and cheap are normally go together.

I never got to play there when i worked for a Harrogate based company, got promised a round every time i went there at Rudding Park, but it never materialized. supposed to be nice though!

Rudding park is a good track I'm there for a overnight stay with the lads the last saturday of this month

Love Harrogate Starbeck. Not cheap but I actually like it more than Pannal. Not played Ruddings Pk.

Im a member at Rudding Park so when you move up PM me and I,ll take you over for a round
If you want cheep but a reasonable track there is a course 5 mins out of Harrogate called Spofforth its £15 a round I think.
Rudding park do a credit membership so you only pay when you play but your still a member.

We are having our short honeymoon at Rudding Park before the main one next year. 3 days of golf and Spa treatments in October. Can't wait.

Back to the original post, plenty of cheaper courses within half an hour, spoiled for choice.

Have to agree with Hobbit, Harrogate GC is a cracking track, if you can get on with a member good value also.
