Golf in Dubai

I'm off to dubai with work and there for 2 weeks in march. I will have my clubs and looking for courses to stay and nice hotels. Looking to stay in a hotel near emirates club. And looking to play 2-3 rounds on my own out there. Any views on top courses to play. I think Emirates Faldo course is on the list, along with Dubai Creek. Anywhere else, looking to pay under £100 each round really.

Not sure about current prices but I really enjoyed the Montgomerie. The Creek is OK, best holes are those along the creek itself. Not played the Earth, Fire etc but heard varying reports, seem to be marmite courses from what I've read.

I wouldn't worry about packing your waterproofs

Mrs and I are planning to go on a holiday to Dubai 7th March to 17th March. Visiting a cuz who lives out there and he has two sets so I'll be playing. Possibilities there then if our dates overlap on days my cuz is working...
